Resilient Futures Scholarship Fund
The Resilient Futures Scholarship Fund supports children and young adults in Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties whose lives have been impacted by parental addiction. Through flexible financial assistance, the fund helps students pursue educational, career, and enrichment opportunities that foster resilience, personal growth, and long-term success.
The fund offers two scholarship opportunities:
The Postsecondary Scholarship (click for application) provides up to $5,000 for graduating high school seniors pursuing college, trade school, vocational programs, apprenticeships, certifications, or licensing opportunities. Funds may be used for tuition, books, tools, housing, transportation, childcare, technology, and other essential educational expenses.
Timeline
Applications are accepted twice annually:
- Spring Cycle: January 1 - April 1
- Fall Cycle: July 1 - October 1
Recipients are notified approximately two months after each application deadline, and funds are distributed prior to the start of the academic term.
The Opportunity Access Scholarship (click for application) provides up to $3,000 annually for K-12 students to participate in educational and enrichment experiences such as academic competitions, camps, leadership programs, school-sponsored travel, arts programs, and career exploration opportunities.
